lazy.cluster: Divisive Hierarchical Clustering tools for lazy boys and girls

Description

The following are the classes of the functions.

Main Function

• dhclust: Divisive Hierarichical Cluster Analysis

Utility Functions 1

• cuttree: Cut a (Short) Tree into Groups of Data

• plot_tree: Draw a tree using a class hclust object

• pplot_tree: Profile display of observations in each cluster

• bplot_tree: Plot of data with cluster id

• order_a_tree: Order the Locations of the Bottom Level Clusters in a Tree

• find_parent: Given a class hclust merge matrix and parent names, find the parent of each observation and cluster.

• get_tree_fit: Given a class hclust object, calculate SS and llh for each cluster.

Utility Functions 2

• ml_clust: ML cluster analysis under normal model

• ls_clust: LS cluster analysis under normal model (equal variances)

• mxnormal: Finite mixture of normal distributions

• fake_tree: Modify a class hclust object to take care of nclusters=3 divide

• rename_tree_parents: Rename parent clusters by consecutive numbers

• convert2hclust: Convert fusion history matrix to a class hclust objec

• init_clust: Initial cluster solution by stat::hclust

• getRSS: Calculation of various SSs given classification

• dmvnorm: pdf of multivariate normal

• dmxnorm: pdf of finite mixture of multivariate normal

• unidimdata: A very small unidimensional data frame

• circle1: A data frame with five crisp clusters

• circle2: A data frame with four vague clusters

• demodata: Y1-Y8, X1-X4
