Initial cluster solution by stat::hclust

Description

This function uses stat::hclust to calculate the initail parameters for EMCluster::emcluster.

Usage

init_clust(x, ncl = 2, method = "ward.D2", print = 0)

Arguments

x	data frame
ncl	# of clusters to be sought
method	method for hclust
print	= 1 or 2 to print some result

Details

The observations will be classified according to the hclus result, and for each cluster, mean and Sigma will be calculated.
Then, the results will be arranged in the structure similar to class "emret" object.

Value

An object in the sape of class "emret" object
